Earlier in the month, we posted a few images of the upcoming collaborative Serra Boots boots from Visvim and Supreme, but now we would like to offer another look. Here is another image that is a bit more clear, but another item has been added as well. A nice looking set of beanies in grey, navy, black, and orange have also been produced from the two. Check the images after the jump.
After images of the Krink x Nike Air Force 1 1WORLD shoe hit the internet over a month ago, fans of the artist and the actual shoe itself have been eagerly awaiting its release, but the end of the wait is now in sight. November 29th will mark the release date for this highly anticipated set of footwear as it will be available at 21 Mercer Street and a few other select retailers. I am not so much an Air Force 1 kinda guy, but you cannot really front on this shoe. Krink’s signature paint drips in silver against the clean gray of the shoe make these a total hit, but add the gum sole in the mix, and that hit turns into a homerun. Check the image after the jump.
The Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Berlin will have two person show opening this weekend that will feature the works of Kill Pixie and Travis Louie. This is a really cool lineup, as each artist features two entirely different styles that produce interesting results. The show opens on November 22, 2008 and it will run through December 20, 2008.
SlamxHype blogger, Dmote, has just informed us about the latest edition of ANP Quarterly. Volume 2/Number 2 is hot off of printers, so be sure to keep your eyes open. ANP Quarterly is solid and I was thoroughly impressed with the last one. I am sure this one will be equally as dope as that one.
Jeff Soto’s solo show, Turning in Circles, will open at the Riverside Art Museum on December 2, 2008. This is his first museum exhibition and it will feature work completed over the last 12 months, which totals to about 20 pieces. In addition to that, he will be showing a 50-foot wall installation. The show sounds extremely impressive and a must see if in Southern California between the opening and February 21, 2009, which is the last day of the exhibition.
Portishead has granted ShockHound an opportunity to interview them to discuss their third album, which is actually titled, Third. I have been a fan of theirs for a good while now as I find Beth Gibbons’ voice to be enchanting, so this news/interview is a real treat. Gibbons is absent from the interview, but Geoff Barrow and Adrian Utley hold it down. Check after the jump to see it.
