I just want to take a moment to inform you all about a giveaway we are having at the moment. The giveaway is for this really cool package consisting of a copy of the Christmas on Mars DVD by of one of my all-time fave musical acts, The Flaming Lips, and this really awesome Mimobot Cosmobot designer flash drive. We recently wrote about the screening here and if you look back at it, you will find a valuable tidbit of information in which the answer to the question I am about to pose. Anyway, check after the jump for your chance to win.
Supertouch recently paid a visit to Todd James at his studio as he was working on some new works for The Outsiders show in the UK in December. As you can see from the images, things are shaping up quite nicely for James’ work that will be presented overseas in the near future. Check some images after the jump.
I had been over Dunks in general for a long time, but I had a chance to do the Nike iD thing a few months ago and ended up selecting a Dunk Hi. Since then, I have been pretty into them again and have even got my paws on a few choice looking pairs. During that time, Nike has released the Dunk Hi Vandal and they have been amongst my favorite shoes since I first saw them at an event Nike did in Los Angeles earlier in the year. Anyway, I came across images of these monotone black Dunk Hi Vandal Premium and thought they would be cool to post. Note the black nylon gives the shoe a sleek look and the lace colors add a splash of bright coloring, but I think I prefer the black laces. Take a look at the images after the jump.
The two powerhouses got together to literally link up to create this bike chain. The chain link is covered up with a casing that displays their logos. There are three colors: red, blue and black and they will be available through the Honeyee store.
Well, the title is not entirely accurate as we gave you a look at the Will Barras Oakley Artist Series Montefrio sunglass here a little while ago, but, I just happened to be at Oakley Headquarters today for a meeting and a good friend there was kind enough to give me this sample pair of the sunglasses. These turned out great to say the least and I think it is safe to say that this is my favorite Artist Series edition to date. As you can see here, all the art work on the box and sunglasses comes courtesy of Barras and as an added bonus, a bandana featuring the same work can be found inside of the box — it even served as the backdrop for these images that I took. Another special treat will be thrown in the mix for the actual release, which will be in January of 2009. Be on the lookout for that as the time draws near, but in the meanwhile, check the images after the jump.
