Marc Jacobs Ankle Boots

Marc Jacobs has released this interesting pair of ankle boots that have some boat shoe elements mixed in with moccasin flavor. It is a very nice release that makes use of some soft looking suede for the upper and the laces. The brown color is also pretty damn nice for this style and coupled with the utilization of nice materials, this pair of boots comes out a real winner.

DJ Sean G Presents: The Lever 2009

DJ Sean G of Pac Div has put together this great mixtape that I have been playing heavily since I got it about a month ago. The Lever 2009 features some great tracks from The Cool Kids, Blu, Jay Electronica, Q-Tip, Young Jeezy, and a lot more. This is one is most definitely worth checking out. Oh, and speaking of Pac Div, if you get a chance to check their live show — DO IT. I saw them over the holiday season and I was thoroughly impressed.

Vacation Standards by Tofer Book Signing

Hennessy + Ingalls Art & Architecture Bookstore will be presenting a special book signing event for Vacation Standards by Tofer this Saturday at Space 15 Twenty in Los Angeles, CA. The event will be taking place from 6 to 9pm, so stop by if you are in the area. I have a copy of the book and I highly recommend picking one up, if you have not already. It has become one of my favorite book to place on the coffee table because the reactions I get from house guests are priceless.

Mark Dean Veca: Paintings, Wall Drawings and Collaborations Recap

I had the opportunity to check out Mark Dean Veca’s Paintings, Wall Drawings and Collaborations exhibtion at the UAG gallery in San Diego last night and I must say it was an amazing experience. The show served as sort of a mini-retrospective encompassing the last 10 years of his work in addition to 2 new wall paintings he did inside of the gallery and outside as well. I took some images of some of the great work on display and I would like to take a moment to share with all of you.
