Iconic Barbie turned 50 yesterday.     WOW.   Cannot believe.    Yes, she looks a bit like a hooker- but she is the most popular toy ever.     Mattel set up a Malibu dream house in Malibu to celebrate the icon’s birthday.   Jonathan Adler built a sculpture of Barbies and Christian Loubutin designed a signature shoe.  Artists and designers from all over the world contributed to pay homage.   All images courtesy of Mario Anzioni/Reuters.   For all you toy collectors- Barbie was invented by Ruth Handler who named the doll after her daughter Barbara.
