Don’t front, I know you wish you had the knowledge to write for ‘Fantastic Man’. New issue of the gentleman’s style journal is out in Colette and RD Franks in London (one week before the rest of the world gets it). Still number one and oft-imitated, the section listing the eating habits of a brace of journos, stylists and designers over the space of one evening is strong, there’s a lengthy feature on their new fragrance, released to coincide with the issue 9 drop date, and the shoots still stand tall in their quality and innovation. I just pretend to read the rival magazines. Plus it appears to be £1.50 cheaper than it was last year as a manicured middle finger against the current financial crisis, despite maintaining the same excellent quality as the Autumn/Winter perfect-bound upgrade.
