While recently in Chicago I had the pleasure to spend some time with friend and Bodega™ contributing artist, Cody Hudson. When first asked to contribute to the blog consortium on this site I imagined a series of studio visits with some of my favorite artists comprising the majority of the content for the blog. An inside glimpse into the artist’s studio has always been one of the great rewards in my line of work, revealing a place where experimentation, research, and production intersect and fuse together. Cody has been an artist I’ve looked up to for a long time and the more I get to know him on a personal level the more my appreciation for his work exponentially grows. This is the first in a series of studio visits I’m calling Heavy Atelier.
