I’m a big fan Danny Lyon. He rode with the Chicago Outlaws, did a Conversation with the Dead and has a new-ish book out, LIKE A THIEF’S DREAM, that switches up the expected, regular photobook format and goes into his friendship, correspondences and story of old school convict James Ray Renton. Lyon met Renton in prison while filming with Robert Frank back in Huntsville in the late 60’s. It’s a good, quick read…I recommend a hardbound copy.
