Since I put my sound system back together again I’ve got a renewed vigor and excitement in music, listening to all kinds of stuff that had been a little neglected to be honest.
It’s great to make mix CD’s again and I thoroughly recommend this digital recorder by Sony.

I I also managed to catch the recent De La Soul gig at Billboard Cafe in Roppongi. i’ve been a fan of De La since day one and it’s the first time I’ve seen a live set in years. Seemed like the guys were having fun and unlike so many other people making Hip Hop over the longer haul, De La still make great records. they haven’t passed their “sell by date”.
In other positive news for the Tokyo music community, the former Club Yellow will reopen non Feb 18th with the master Francois K gracing the controls for the opener….
