British photographer Rankin had a show in LA at M&B gallery sponsored by Macallan scotch.   The room was beautiful and elegant.  Whisky was everywhere which  I guess is a good thing if that is your drink.   It was a very nice event produced by LA based Bryan Rabin.   The artwork was shot on polaroid photographed at their estate by Rankin.      I’m not a huge fan of fashion photography or commercial photography as art but this was beautiful.  I also liked the video projection at the entrance which made the event more multi-media like.    A very chic Adrien Brody attended, along with Franz Ferdinand, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and my pal Danielle Levitt.
