Not a Star Wars post, even though I am a huge fan. The Force is a brand new lifestyle magazine from Japan initiated by our friend Ewan Reynolds (Playford) and his crew. Now those familiar with Japanese print media know they take magazines seriously, their market and variety is probably one of the biggest in the world, even in this tech savvy internet era. What makes The Force stand out in the vast sea of dedicated magazines is the unique mix of content, tastefully covering fashion, food, travel, sports, health, arts, entertainment and more.

<br />

This premiere issue which is available at Japanese newsstands right now, features famous allround guy Yosuke Kubozuka, great Roppongi food spots, the Amsterdam city guide Ewan was in town for a little while ago, with articles about Nike, Delta, Patta, Mejiro Gym, Parra and gravure model Yukina Kinoshita, among others. If you get the chance to grab a copy it’s 780 yen well spent yeah!
