Seoul is pretty much untapped territory for skaters and riders. With plenty of great terrain and without the hassle of disgruntled security guards, visitors always find themselves having a great time.
Last year, our friend Vincent Shim came through for the Bicycle Film Festival and returned this summer with two members of the Unknown Bike Team to ride Seoul. He’s been busy snapping photos and shooting video, but took the time to send us some pics. Here’s two with some intro’s by Vincent…
“Jonathan Davis is from Riverside, Ca where he grew up racing BMX. He started riding fixed gear freestyle two years ago and has progressed very fast. Going big is his thing. The biggest roof drop in the sport, a 13 ft drop over a soda machine and a rail, was landed by him this summer. He goes big and he goes hard.”
“Rick Anderson is from Chicago, Il and is aspiring to be a photographer. He has been riding fixed gear freestyle for 2 years. His style is fast and technical. He was the first person to throw a bar spin over an 8 stair earlier this year.”
A little bit more bikes + Seoul….
