So got da big monograph through Abebooks today, with Paul’s TALES THE TORTOISE TAUGHT US already on da shelf. PAUL THEK is theking kool. His premature death from AIDS in the 80’s prompted thoughts about the generation of artists and musicians and personalities who were prematurely cut short of making through to NOW. I wonder what the world today would be (culturally) with the progression and evolution of such artists as (obviously) Basquiat, Haring, Thek, Ritts, Mapplethorpe, Cookie Mueller, Eazy E, Patrick Cowley, Ofra Haza, Klaus Nomi, and and and, and. Hmmm. Ponder. Evolution? Revolution?? We need help!

**AND Kenny Everett!
