Presented for Comme des Garcons SHIRT, Aaron Rose introduces a short film titled ‘The Generic Man’ starring Chris Johanson. The short film celebrates the fact that all men have some element of strangeness to them, something that is show by Johanson in the video. As Rose puts it, “I feel like this film celebrates that element. It’s a testament to the fact that you don’t have to be like everybody else to be cool and stylish. Also, I think there’s some great life advice in there too. I think it is important to make films that not only look good, but also make you think.” Watch the video online here.

Wes Anderson, director of The Darjeeling Limited, eagerly introduces his next project, Moonrise Kingdom. Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965,  Moonrise Kingdom tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore. Bruce Willis plays the local sheriff, Edward Norton is a Khaki Scout troop leader, Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray the young girl’s parents. The cast also includes Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, and Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward as the boy and girl. Look for the new film to hit the big screen May 25th.

Bob Chisholm is a photographer who has been documenting his life and travels longer than most have been alive, with this documentary short film we get a better insight into his philosophy. He has been steadily capturing moments in his life from the early 50’s all the way up to the late 90’s. He recently had an exhibit at San Francisco based Popular Workshop where they curated 22 photos from 7500 slides that were forgotten and found in an half abandoned home in Northern California. The Short film itself, commissioned by the Pop Shop, is one of the best insights into a photographer i’ve ever seen.
