I had been over Dunks in general for a long time, but I had a chance to do the Nike iD thing a few months ago and ended up selecting a Dunk Hi. Since then, I have been pretty into them again and have even got my paws on a few choice looking pairs. During that time, Nike has released the Dunk Hi Vandal and they have been amongst my favorite shoes since I first saw them at an event Nike did in Los Angeles earlier in the year. Anyway, I came across images of these monotone black Dunk Hi Vandal Premium and thought they would be cool to post. Note the black nylon gives the shoe a sleek look and the lace colors add a splash of bright coloring, but I think I prefer the black laces. Take a look at the images after the jump.
News dropped last week of Hong Kong Artist Michael Lau’s latest Nike collaboration. Known himself for wearing White Air Force Ones almost always, he’s taken his own affection for the classic shoe and developed a theme around “Psychiatric Ward” for Nike’s 1World project, with a luxuriously quilted leather AF1 Low, and of course accompanying figure. Check out…
Michael Lau will be getting in the mix again with Nike as a participant of the 1WORLD
project thas has seen collaborations with some real movers-and-shakers
. Word has it that a shoe and vinyl figure are in order for this project with a theme based off the psychiatric ward, which is probably where the "Crazy" title comes into play. We hope to bring you more details about this as the event approaches. Check the flyer inside.
