Undercover x A Bathing Ape | Nowhere Sneakers

Nigo recently gave us a preview of a very exiciting sneaker collaboration between long time partner Jun Takahashi (Undercover) and himself (Bape). This particular collabo is based on Undercover’s former classic rendition of the Jack Purcell sneaker, adding also Bape’s very own classic green camo. The sneaker will be released at the Japanese fashion duo’s recently re-opened NOWHERE store at Dover Street Market in London.

Here is a preview look at some shots from the Walter Van Beirendonck’s 2010 S/S Collection presentation, titled “WonderfuR” shown at the Le Bataclan on this week. The presentation features Van Beirendonck-Look-a-like “Muscle Bear” models, garbed in Van Beirendonck’s colorful and sharp clothing, somewhat like new wave lumberjacks. Dries Van Noten recently unveiled his Spring/summer 2010 collection this week as Paris fashion week gets underway, Van Noten once again adopts the use of very unique ethnic colors and fabric patterns, couple with a variety of textiles said to have been sourced from 6 different countries. The collection includes a great mix of classic clean cut pieces like simple trenchcoats, shirts and blazers. All very simple timeless designs that is perhaps a reflectiion of Van Noten’s dislike for the six-month lifespan of many seasonal fashion products.
