Following the release of Supreme’s full-length skate video Cherry, Japanese publication VHS Mag have revealed a new interview with the film’s director, Bill Strobeck. Strobeck’s been a force in the skate world since Alien Workshop’s Photosynthesis (2000) and has since worked on a number of recognizable projects, including TransWorld’s $TUD and Supreme’s 2012 commercial, Buddy. Here, the filmmaker discusses how his style evolved once he had more control over each finished product, his part in the making of Cherry, and his thoughts on how the film has effectively become skate video of the year.
