French magazine Desillusion continues its run of great video content with Day Like This, a short film on surfer Jamie O’Brien. O’Brien is an interesting figure in the surfing world. Publicly against competition, he is also, paradoxically, one of those surfers that is constantly under the media spotlight thanks to his web series, Who is Job. In the film, French photographer and Desillusion Editor-in-Chief, Sebastien Zanella, spends 24 hours with O’Brien at his home on the North Shore of Hawaii, where he lives in front of one of the best waves on the planet: Pipeline. Based on an article ,”Days Like this”, which appeared in Desillusion issue 45, the film offers a unique insight into the enviable lifestyle of one of surfing’s most popular figures.
