Freshjive will be bringing an interesting photo exhibition to Reserve in Los Angeles titled Photographs by Edward Colver on August 29th. Edward Colver is a famed photographer that earned his place in music history by documenting and snapping images of the early Los Angeles punk scene. His work is both riveting and fascinating as it captures the angst and aggression as well as the spirit and excitement of the L.A. punk scene as it blossomed. Colver has also taken portraits of artists and musicians such as Ice Cube, George Clinton, Danny Elfman, Andy Warhol, and psychedelic drug experimentalist, Timothy Leary. The show will be taking place on August 29th from 7 to 10pm and it will feature some of Colver’s more obscure photos as well as special selections never seen before. A limited edition Edward Colver tee shirt will also be available during the show.
