Known for stocking its shelves with hard-to-come-by brands such as Bedwin, White Mountaineering, Neighborhood, and more, Chris Gibbs, owner of Union, has kept the progression of contemporary men’s fashion attainable here in Los Angeles. His years of experience in fashion, his relationship with Japan, and his ability to spot noteworthy products makes going to their invite-only-trunk show that much more special.
This year they invited Japanese company Visvim.
Known for its attention to detail and design aesthetic, Visvim has become a favorite amongst many.
Visvim’s designer Hiroki Nakamura made the trek from Tokyo with samples in hand to a bungalow at the Chateau Marmont for a weekend trunk show.
Fans from all over made their way to Los Angeles for this event, including Eric Clapton and Mos Def.
What can I say… Champagne, Eric Clapton, Hiroki, Eric Clapton, pricey Japanese menswear, Union, Chris Gibbs, Eric Clapton, it doesn’t get any better.
