It’s fitting that Patagonia has dipped into fly fishing with its new book release. The brand has been at the heart of outdoor wear since its conception in the ’60s — you could even say it brought style to that realm — so we’re not going to argue against its latest choice of pastime. Simple Fly Fishing was written by Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard, and finds the author alongside Mauro Mazzo and Craig Mathews, presenting readers with a simple run-through of wet fly fishing, nymphing, and dry fly fishing. The book comes with an Enkara-style fly fishing rod, box of flies, line and leader, and set-up book, so you’ve got no excuses really.
