At the recent 30th Osaka Motorcycle Show, Honda not only revealed a bunch of innovative bike designs, but also a love for Japanese anime and manga, known collectively as Japanimation. How do we know this? Well, the auto and tech giant unveiled two new motorcycle designs that draw direct influence from the beasts often seen roaring through Japanese animations. The matte black NM4-01 and black-and-white NM4-02 models both feature anime-inspired styling, with 745cc twin-cylinder engines and Dual Clutch Transmissions allowing drivers to switch between auto and manual modes. Elongated sports bodies and paneling that accents an incredible streamline gives both machines a space-age feel, and we can’t wait to see the outfits the riders are going to be wearing when these go to market.
