Currently on show at Basel’s Fondation Beyeler is Switzerland’s first ever museum show dedicated to Jeff Koons. The show features works from three of Koons’ series- The New (1980-1987), Banality (1988) and Celebration (1994 to present), and comprises over 50 works. Cleaning apparatus, kitsch crafted porcelain and wood sculptures, and high-gloss child-like creations, all highly distinctive of the artist, which explore themes of sexuality, innocence, beauty and happiness, will be on display until the beginning of September 2012.
