Los Angeles’ Honor Fraser Gallery will play host later this month to artist Kenny Scharf’s latest exhibition, entitled, Hodgepodge. For the show, which will be Scharf’s second at the gallery, the artist has created several new bodies of work including  paintings, sculptures, a Cosmic Cavern installation, and a customized Cadillac, all which survey his particular aesthetic approaches and sensibilities. Los Angeles based performance artist Ann Magnuson will also play a part in the exhibition, interacting with the cadillac sculpture in a manner reminiscent of the free-associating Beat poets like Kerouac and Ginsberg, in a performance entitled, FinismHodgepodge opens Saturday, April 14, at Honor Fraser.
