Scheduled to hit the skies during the next Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Brooklyn artist KAWS is set to debut his Companion figure as a 40 feet long, 34 feet wide and 30 feet tall balloon. The figure was a clear choice for the artist and after the parade the balloon will join other artists’ balloons in the Macy’s archives. Previous artists in the parade include Tom Otterness, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami and Tim Burton.
