The aspirational bible that is Monocle presents its latest publication, suitably titled, The Monocle Guide to Good Business. As a publisher, Monocle is more than qualified to speak on the subject – not only because of the subject matter in each of its issues, but on the strength of its own business model. It’s one of the most successful independent media companies of the past decade. Offering advice to up-and-comers and entrepreneurs, as well as ways to inject a bit of freshness into established businesses, “it’s a book about doing things well (from how you run the show to the pens you buy)”, says Monocle. The 300-page book features original photography and illustrations and will be available from Gestalten in September.
