If there is one word to descibe the music of  Matt and Kim, it’s energetic!  Grand, the follow up-album to 2006′s Matt and Kim is an accurate portrayal of what the title presents.  With the  commercial success of “Daylight“  and a recent  MTV VMA win for “breakthrough video” with “Lessons Learned,” these two have burst out of the dark warehouses they used to perform in, to the hearts of  audiences everywhere.  I caught up with Matt and Kim at one of many sold out shows to talk about touring, making the album, and how they create one of the best live shows I’ve seen.
