Swedish Denim company Denim Demon have really impressed me of late, not only have they produced some really high end denim, but their general philosophy and enthusiasm to step up and move their collection and the game in general to another level. Have a look here at their recent Man-Worn Denim project. Their Spring/Summer collection again mixes their love for traditional work wear with Sami culture, best explained by their new ‘Ren-on-hide’ jeans, a 15.5 oz un sanforized denim complete with reindeer hide patch, based on a 1930s Lee cut with green, white and blue narrow selvedge. The selvedge colours representative of “Sami” culture. The collection also includes some impressive shirting, flannel and denim, with an authentic cut and again, that telling reference.
