Less But Better
Dieter Rams’s association with the German electronics company Braun began in 1955, when he was hired as an architect and interior designer; one year later, he began to work on product design. In 1968, Rams was made manager of production and design, and in 1988, he took the position of executive director, which he held until 1997. In this book, Less But Better, published in 1995 two years before his retirement, Rams discusses the products he designed and his forty years of experience working with Braun.
