Two of Damien Hirst’s loves have been brought together in this collaboration between the highest paid living artist and Levi’s, skulls and denim. Hirst referred to the limited edition release he made with original denim maker earlier in the year as “art you can wear.”

This project which has included designer Adrian Nyman has culminated in three themes, skulls, spots and tropical butterflies. Hirst’s artworks are emblazoned on black and blue jeans, as well as white, black and purple tees. While some of the skull images feature the splattered paint of his “spin paintings” and one shirt has the black and white portrait of the artist and a skull and finally a signature denim and leather jacket rounds off the collection.

The Levi’s x Damien Hirst line will be hitting stores like Barney’s New York, Fred Segal and Union (NYC) by mid-September. Hopefully with a  price tag well short of the $80,000 the last pair of jeans he made with Levi’s went for.

Thansk to Cool Hunting for the info.
