The London based- German photographer Juergen Teller, is well known for his photographic rawness and the unmatched ability to capture in his photos a certain grunge, unique and imperfect beauty from the models he shoots. He has been collaborating with Marc Jacobs for the past decade in all of Marc Jacob’s ad campaigns to turn his ideas and runway creations into photographic stories. Apart from working with Marc Jacobs , Teller has done major ad campaigns for numerous labels such as comme des garçons, marc jacobs, stüssy, helmut lang, hugo boss, yves st. laurent, calvin klein, louis vuitton, just to name a few. And has been credited for completely changing the face of fashion photography.
In September this year Jeurgen Teller will be releasing a book published by Steidl that will showcase the full collection of photographic ads that he has done for Marc Jacobs in the past 10 years to combine into a hardcover book.
