Playboy Enterprises Inc. is proud to announce that its ‘Rock the Rabbit’ program, fusing music, art and fashion, will come to Europe this summer. The collection will launch in Paris at the world-famous colette store on Monday 23rd June and at the same time Playboy France will showcase the designs in the July issue. Playboy will then present the collection to buyers at the Bread and Butter fashion trade show in Barcelona where Belgian band Das Pop, who have recently signed as new Rock the Rabbit members, will perform live. Playboy Spain will also feature the Rock the Rabbit collection to tie in with Bread and Butter.
Playboy invited select musicians to place their own personal creative interpretation on the world-famous Rabbit Head logo and the results have been worked up into a collection of T-shirts. Four designs from the range will be available exclusively at colette and the store will also be carrying a selection of pieces from the White Trash Charms for Playboy jewellery collection. The first four designs showcased will be by Daft Punk, Iggy Pop, Duran Duran and Working for a Nuclear Free City. More bands and designs will follow as further bands from around the world join the project.
The collection was a hit with U.S. customers when it launched earlier this year at select Bloomingdale’s stores and Playboy anticipates a similar response in Europe. "Rock the
