With the Os Gemos brothers showing work at the Boston ICA in August, it’s going to be quite a month for street art fans with a new show from legendary Bay-area artist, Barry McGee, scheduled to open August 24 at the BAM/PFA (UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive). The exhibition will feature the influential street and graffiti artist’s trademark imagery and installation, including large scale paintings and panels, animatronics, street recreations and more. A new publication will also accompany the exhibition – more info on that here - in the meantime, check out some of the work in progress, above. (via Arrested Motion)
