It is with a somber heart that we report the passing of Adam Yauch better known as MCA of the Beastie Boys at the age of 47. It is being reported that the legendary MC lost his battle with cancer which he was diagnosed with back in 2009 which resulted in the cancellation of a Beastie Boys tour as well as delayed production of their Hot Sauce Committee album. Adam’s legacy will surely carry on within the hearts and efforts of the rest of the Beastie Boy members as well as lovers and fans of the influential group.
