Startech is a top name in the tuning-and-styling-of-luxury-automobiles game. A new piece of work will unveiled by Startech at Geneva Motor Show next week, and it’s this widebody kit developed for the new Range Rover Sport.
The modifications center around the carbon fiber body panels developed for the Range Rover Sport, providing an added two inches of width. The wider fender flares encompass 23-inch wheels that are forged, ceramic-coated and skinned with low-profile rubber, and are fitted to a lowered suspension. The front and rear bumpers have been redone in plastic, and can be fitted with or without the wider fenders. Plus there’s a three-piece roof spoiler on the back.
The upgrades also extend to under the hood, as the 3.0-liter twin-turbo-diesel V6 has an extra 31 horsepower and 59 pound-feet of torque for a total of 323 hp, while the 0-62 time of 7.2 seconds has been cut to 6.9.
This automobile is not a game. It’s a lifestyle.
