Early next year the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. The sixth generation luxury sports sedan is defined by the prestine attention to quality and while this short preview only gives a look at what the car looks aesthetically, I am certain the specs will be equally impressive. Head of the Maserati Design Center, Lorenzo Ramaciotti, explained, “Its style was born out of the guiding design principles of Maserati: harmony of shapes, dynamism of lines and Italian elegance. More generous in size when compared to the previous model, the new Quattroporte has a design that is at once graceful and sinuous, fashioned to bring out the sporty nature of the car.” In addition Maserati did give further insight into the car with the 2014 Quattroporte powered by an all-new, next generation powertrain designed and developed by Maserati and Ferrari engineers and built at Ferrari’s Maranello plant.
