Supercar maker, Bugatti, has announced a limited edition collection of six “Bugatti Legends” designs, in tribute to some of Grand Prix racing history’s most legendary figures. Each design in the series will be based on the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, with the first to pay tribute to Grand Prix (and Bugatti) driver, Jean-Pierre Wimille. The new edition takes specific inspiration from the Bugatti 57G Tank that Wimille drove to victories at Le Mans in 1937 and 1939, including the Wimille Bleu paintwork and classic blue clear-coated carbon fiber used in design. The car boasts a solid 8.0 liter, W16 quad-turbo engine and will apparently reach 60 mph in 2.6 seconds. Wimille would be proud. For more info, head to Bugatti.com.
