The beautiful and functional House T was designed with the whimsical (yet perfectly executed) intention of doubling as a bookcase. Designed by Japanese firm Hiroyuki Shinozaki and built within the confines of limited space in the bustle of downtown Tokyo, the design makes the most of the building’s vertical space, incorporating a number of levels and floating rooms to create the illusion of a much bigger area. The design also creates unique perspectives of the house for the occupants, who can survey the interior from any number of angles. Take a look around the unique interior in the gallery above.
