IKEA has today unveiled its UPPLEVA HDTV line with a snappy YouTube video. The video spot positions the UPPLEVA line as a savior to living rooms everywhere with hidden cable tracks, integrated wireless components and a customizable cabinet design. The Swedish retailer shows that it understands the notion of an all-in-one system, offering a unit that integrates smart TV and sound system with furniture. The YouTube teaser rolls out a few specs concerning the HDTV with a 1080p LED LCD screen, 400Hz response time, and some sort of smart TV functionality. No definitive price info as of yet but the UPPLEVA line will apparently hit key stores in Stockholm, Milan, Paris, Gdansk, and Berlin in June 2012, with additional European releases in Autumn and a broader launch following in 2013.
