Instagram has announced its intentions to integrate advertisements into the photo sharing platform, initially on U.S. users’ accounts – although if you’re outside the U.S. you can probably expect similar changes soon. At this stage, the ads will be integrated as photo and video content into the app itself from brands that the user is not necessarily following. Instagram has not elaborated on whether these ads will find their way into the newsfeed and explore sections, but you can be fairly sure you’ll start to see them cropping up in the near future. As on Facebook, however, users will be given the option to hide the ad and give feedback. What do you think?
