Mercedes-Benz have announced a Performance Studio Edition of the C63 AMG Sedan, the downside being (at least for most of the world) it’s a Japanese exclusive. Modified inside and out, the car boasts a 6.2-liter V8 with an output of 480hp (487PS). An exterior makeover includes a matte black finish for the body combined with new 19-inch multispoke alloy wheels in black with red rims, a carbon trunk lid lip spoiler, redesigned exhaust tailpipes and red brake calipers. A similar colour combination can be found on the interior. Additional features include carbon fiber decorative trim, hand-crafted AMG floor mats with nappa leather piping, AMG door lock pins and the addition of a standard Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system. First deliveries are scheduled to start in November 2012, with pricing in Japan set at 15 million Yen, (approximately US$192,000).
