Furniture makers Herman Miller have announced a new project that will see them come together with a variety of artists and companies to reinterpret their SAYL chair. The first of these collaborations to be unveiled is with the late Australian Aboriginal artist Minnie Pwerle, and sees the application of her vibrant and bold brushstrokes to the seat. It’s always great to see form and function, both represented by different camps, meet on common ground. The Minnie Pwerle x Herman Miller SAYL chairs are now available in a number of versions.
