Saint Laurent has opened its newest flagship store in Paris, the first to be designed by Hedi Slimane since he took on the role of Creative Director last year. The art-deco inspired store is located on Avenue Montaigne near the Champs-Élysées, and features a marble staircase encased by nickel-plated brass rods as its centrepiece. Marble has also been used for the walls, floors and a row of shelves and embraces and reflects the aesthetic that the house has projected under the direction of Slimane. Next up for Saint Laurent will be a concept store on London’s Sloane Street, set to open this Autumn. (via Dezeen)
