Debuting his first Aeromobil prototype in the early 1990s, Stefan Klein has now unveiled details for the third generation of his flying car. Looking rather more like a plane than an automobile until its collapsable wings fold in, the two-seater Aeromobil 2.5 roadster houses a Rotax 912 engine and has a fuel consumption of 7.5L per 100km. Its compact 6000mm carbon-coated steel frame will fit into a standard parking space and its engine enables it to tank at any gas station. In plane-mode the hybrid has a take off speed of 90mph and is said to fly over 124mph for up to 430 miles. Whilst commercial production has not yet been set in place, you can find further information – including investing and purchasing opportunities – at the Aeromobil website.
