Cameras, phones, computers—they all keep getting more compact. The latest example of this is the Canon VIXIA Mini, a small, portable, hand-held camcorder with an ultra wide-angle lens and HD video capabilities. At just 5.6 ounces, the camera can fit perfectly in your pocket, ready to be pulled out at any moment on the fly. The touchscreen is 2.7 inches, and opens up at a 170 degree tilt to ease the process of taking videos of yourself and your surroundings. There’s also a built-in stand for hands-free recording options, as well as built in Wi-Fi so you can synch with your phone and transfer the videos that you take.
The camera retails at $300 and will be available in September.
