Anyone who flies frequently – or infrequently for that matter – knows all too well the tedium of sitting through yet another in-flight safety video. Yes, I know they’re designed with passengers’ interests in mind, but it’s beyond me why, apart from a select few airlines (Air New Zealand being a good example), most have not taken it upon themselves to capture their passengers’ attention by making the 5 minute videos at all interesting. So it’s nice to see that VistaJet has enlisted the creative minds of Tom Sachs and Van Neistat to create a unique (and slightly unsettling) stop-motion animation, which still incorporates all the safety info you need to take onboard (get it?). ¬†While the video was posted briefly online a couple of days ago, it has since been taken down, so for now, enjoy these stills while we find you a link.
