TransWorld continues its look back at the 30 most influential skateboarders of all time, tying in with the magazine’s own 30th anniversary. This week, they catch up with Mark Gonzales – a skater with so many turning points in his career it’s hard to mention. As TransWorld points out, it would be difficult to know where skateboarding would be today without The Gonz. A skater with a sense of adventure and passion for change and adaption, Gonzales is also an accomplished writer, painter, poet and actor, trying his hand at various careers with a respectable amount of success, although he will always be remembered as a skateboarder.
