CES 2013 saw Audi reveal a number of new lighting technologies which will make some major aesthetic changes to automotive design.

We see the progressive “Swarm” technology enforced on the vehicle’s sides. Adopting OLED technology, the lights are replaced with a large continuous light panel of countless flickering light waves, which synchronize the vehicle with its speed and movement. “Laser Tail Light,” provides drivers with good visibility behind them even in challenging weather conditions. Additionally, a fan-shaped laser trail beams downwards to the road, prompting drivers to keep their sufficient distance.
