The first series of adidas Originals by Originals line was successful mainly due to the involvement of Kazuki in my opinion. It enabled the collection and sub brand to reach a market otherwise unreachable, by utilising the Japanese designer’s much acclaimed portfolio of work. Here’s a look at the follow up collection, which this coming fall will sit alongside David Beckham(and James Bond) collection and Jeremy Scott’s yet again.
While we make a point of keeping our posts positive in their reporting and tone. I think it’s worth noting that the poor styling of this lookbook doesn’t do the collection and design justice. I look forward to seeing the range again, as I’m sure it’s much better than it appears.
