Towards the end of last year the whole mountaineering boot fad went crazy, it seemed nearly every brand was hoping on the band wagon, so I made a promise to myself not to post any more as it was getting kind of boring – however there is always exceptions to rules like that and these bright blue Mountain Ridge Low Boot from Danner’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection are a must have. What sets Danner apart from other brand’s mountain inspired boots, is that they are actually fit for purpose… you could really climb a mountain in these babies and the Vibram sole wouldn’t fall off after 2 miles. Although, I’m sure the majority of these will be resigned to pounding the pavements of major cities on the feet of urban lumberjack hipsters.
