If you have been following Hiroki Nakamura’s blog in recent months you would have noticed something was brewing in Kyoto. The project is in fact the latest retail installation from Visvim in the former capital of Japan, Kyoto. A remarkable project that really captures the sentiment of the city with a doll store that has been around for the last 16 generations being transformed uniquely into this hugely impressive store that reflects the concept of Visvim and F.I.L.
Take a look through the images Hiroki Nakamura has compiled in recent months and get a genuine insight to what has gone into the making of this store. With the grand opening taking place on May 30, if you are ever in Kyoto to see the famous temples or cherry blosum make sure you stop by.
